The EVO X manifold blanket was designed to precisely cover and contain the large amount of heat that is emitted from the factory manifold.

In the OEM (and many aftermarket) manifold designs, the turbocharger compressor side is configured extremely close to the manifold itself (about 1/2″ away). It is no surprise that the manifold heat directly affects the compressor side of the turbo and makes it extremely difficult to cool this air (even with the best of intercoolers). The EVO X manifold blanket was designed with this in mind.

This blanket is handmade in the U.S.A. It is constructed from a 2 part aluminum bonded woven pulverized volcanic rock outer jacketing material with an 8# density 1/2″ ceramic layer capable of handling 2500 °F direct heat. This is a full coverage blanket that encapsulates the entire manifold, greatly reducing under hood heat.
